Ayutthaya, in particular, was a flourishing and prosperous caitpal. It remained an important city in Thailand for 417 years and during this period an abundance of palaces and temples were constructed as a token of its economic success.
For your enjoyment and convenience our tour is divided into two parts:
MORNING
Depart bangkok by air-conditioned coach to ayutthaya. Our journey takes you past lush green paddy fields and areas of industrial expansion. Upon arrival, you will come face to face with bygone glories and grandeur of our former capital.

BANG PA-IN PALACE
A favourite summer resort for thai royalty from the ayutthaya to rattanakosin periods, the palace has had various royal halls beautifully restored to their former diverse architectural style, including Thai, European and Chinese.

WAT MAHA THAT
This temple is over 600 years old and its pagoda once contained a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. |

WAT NA PHRA MANE
A fine example of early ayuttahaya architectural design. Insidethe monastery, there stands a rare buddha image adorned in royal attire. Another buddha figure of green stone is morer than 1000 years old. Thistemple was twice selected as commanding headquarters by the intruding Burmese army when they attackedayutthaya. Thus preserving most of the artifacts form destruction. |

WAT LOKAYASUTHARAM
The origins of this wat are unknown. The temple holds one of the Largest Reclining Buddha Images which was built during The Early Period of the Ayutthaya Region.
AFTERNOON
Cruise back to Bangkok via the mighty Chao Phraya River onboard the air conditioned River Sun Boat; taking in scenes of everyday Bangkok life as well as significant Thai landmarks.A delicious Thai buffet lunch will be served for you to enjoy at your leisure, followed by tea and coffee. |
